About Dr. Saurabh Radhakrishnan

Dr. Sourabh is a notable Medical Oncologist with extensive experience of over 18 years. Over these years he has worked as a Senior resident- (Medical and Pediatric Oncology) at a number of profound institutions like Malabar Institute of Medical sciences, Calicut, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, and Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai. He has also worked as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at MIMS and is currently working at Amala Medical college, Thrissur as a Consultant Medical Oncologist and In Charge Precision/Molecular Oncology Faculty.

Dr. Sourabh has been a part of several national and international conferences such as the Ninth Annual Meeting on Evidence Based Management of Cancers (Mumbai, 2011), Eight Annual Meeting on Evidence Based Management of Cancers (Mumbai, 2010), XVth Annual Conference of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology of IAP (PHOCON, 2012), Highlights of the 16th Congress of EHA Bangalore India 2012, Lymphomas and Leukemias Mumbai (European School of Oncology presentation,2012), Best of ASCO Pune 2011, ESMO Conference Mumbai 2011, Faculty at UAE Cancer Congress, Dubai and many more. Dr. Sourabh has been as Faculty at several national and international conferences including UAE Cancer congress and Best of EHA-2016.

In addition, Dr. Sourabh has also presented his research work such as Outcome of patients presented with hyperuricemia and/or tumour lysis syndrome, treat with low dose rasburicase at the XVth Annual conference of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology of IAP (PHOCON 2012)-Mumbai [ awarded 3rd price], Long term results of autologous transplants for lymphomas from BMT Unit, ACTREC at ISHTM 2012, Germ cell tumour: presenting characteristics and outcome from a tertiary cancer care centre (India) at SIOP 2012-London and many more. Apart from his oral presentations, Dr. Sourabh has also presented several posters at SIOP – London in 2012 such as CML BC treatment outcomes with TKI and oral chemotherapy and Single dose/single vial (1.5mg) rasburicase in the management of paediatric patients with hyperuricemia and/or tumour lysis syndrome.

Dr. Sourabh also continues to contribute on the scientific front and has written several chapters for textbooks such as Management of Adult Burkitt’s Lymphoma-EBMK-2012, Optimizing Post Induction Therapy In AML-EBM-2011, Concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy in locally advanced unresectable lung cancer- lung cancer (API).

Dr. Sourabh continues to give his services to the society by visiting Derwan as a part of the Rural Outreach programme of the Tata Memorial Centre.
