About Dr. Sachin Gupta

Dr. Sachin is a practicing Medical and Hemato-oncologist at the Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali and has a rich experience in the field for over 10 years. He has completed a 6-month Diploma Course in Clinical Research from Catalyst Clinical Services, Delhi and is also trained in ACLS and BCLS. He is well-versed in several invasive procedures like central venous catheterization (IJV &subclavian), bone marrow aspiration & biopsy, lumbar punctures, endotracheal intubation, pleural aspiration, ascitic tap, FNACs and has assisted procedures like temporary pacemaker insertion, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy

Dr. Sachin has actively participated in multiple studies and clinical trials as the principal investigator/co-investigator such as an Open-Label, Randomized, Comparative, Multicentric Study to assess Safety and Efficacy of Nimotuzumab in combination with Chemotherapy vs. Chemotherapy alone in the treatment of patients with Stage IIIB / IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), and many more. He has been a part of 90+ conferences, CMEs, Lectures, Presentations and Activities such as CME in Breast and Colorectal Cancer, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana (2000), National Conference on Lung Cancer: Indian Approach. AIIMS New Delhi (2003), RGCON – 4th International Conference (Uro-oncology), Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi (2005), participated as a panellist in Update on Rectal Cancer- organized by NCR Oncology Forum (2010) – to name a few.

Dr. Sachin has a special interest in Holistic and Integrative Medicine. He has started a Holistic clinic “The Quantum Clinic" under which he promotes holistic lifestyle and also adjunctive healing modalities for overall improvement in health status of his patients. He has also organized events for cancer survivors to boost their moral and to make them feel important and wanted and part of society. He continues to add value to the field of medicine and is a member of various societies such as European Hematology Association (EHA), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and Indian Cooperative Oncology Network (ICON).
